Our goal is to train young adults to love and live like Jesus through weekly lessons, worship, and other events outside of the church. We are a safe place for young adults of all walks of life to hang out and learn more about Jesus and ourselves.
JOLT – Joining Our Lives Together
JOLT is for both Middle School and High School students (6th – 12th grade)
Middle School and High School students meet every Tuesday Night starting at 4pm, ending at 7pm. Supper is provided.
Students do not have to be part of this church, or any church, in order to participate. We encourage everyone to bring their friends, which results in a diverse mix of students.
Our vans pick up Middle School students at several schools and bring them to the church for the start of activities at 4:00 pm. There is no charge for Tuesday JOLT activities, although we do need parent information and signed permission forms.
For more information, contact the Youth Director, Tim Schrag.
6th – 8th grade – Sunday mornings starting at 9:30 am for a time of fellowship and studying God’s Word. For more information, contact the Youth Director, Tim Schrag.
8th grade – Our annual Confirmation Class starts in October for students in 8th grade and older. During the study, Confirmation students learn the basics of what it means to be a Christian and specifically United Methodist. Every student is challenged to grow in his or her knowledge and love of God. The class culminates in ceremonies of baptism and becoming a member of the United Methodist Church. For more information, contact the Youth Director, Tim Schrag.
Tim Schrag is the Youth Director for 6th – 12th grade students. He graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2011 with an English Major and a Computer Science Minor, and enjoys puns and a good chicken enchilada. Most of all he loves to see God work in Middle School and High School students and see them grow in their faith while they grow up into young adults.
If you’re a parent or a student I’d love to get to know you and tell you what our Sunday School and Youth Group programs are all about! Give me a call or an email anytime:
