JOLT YOUTH MINISTRY

Our goal is to encourage young adults to love and live like Jesus through weekly lessons, worship, and other events outside of the church. We are a safe place for students of all walks of life to hang out and learn more about Jesus and themselves.

JOLT = Joining Our Lives Together as passionate and committed followers of Christ!

JOLT events are planned for both Middle School and High School students (6th – 12th grade)

JOLT Youth Ministry exists to support the youth of Durango, and provide safe, healthy environments for them to ask hard questions, learn how to do life, and have fun without peer pressure.

Students do not have to be part of this church, or any church, in order to participate. We encourage everyone to bring their friends, which results in a diverse mix of students.

Transportation is provided for Middle School Youth Group at 3:30pm from Mountain, Miller, and Escalante Middle Schools. Students must fill out a 2018-19 Medical Release Form if they plan to ride the bus each week.

Dinner is provided for Middle and High School Youth Groups at 6pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Please contact Tim Schrag if your student has any specific dietary needs, we’ll do our best to accommodate!

For more information, contact the Youth Director, Tim Schrag.

Check out the calendar below for the detailed schedule.

Tim Schrag is the Youth Director for 6th – 12th grade students. He graduated from Fort Lewis College in 2011 with an English Major and a Computer Science Minor, and enjoys puns and a good chicken enchilada. Most of all he loves to see God work in Middle School and High School students and see them grow in their faith while they grow up into young adults.

If you’re a parent or a student I’d love to get to know you and tell you what our Sunday School and Youth Group programs are all about! Give me a call or an email anytime:
