“They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”
A safe environment that fosters loving relationships with Jesus and each other,
while learning more about God and providing opportunities for faith to grow.

Children start in the sanctuary and are dismissed to follow the children’s leader to workshops.
Children sign in at the Child Check-in Station by the Fellowship Hall Doors.
NURSERY CARE DURING WEEKEND WORSHIP SERVICES
Nursery care for children 0-3 years old is provided in our church nursery during every regular weekend service. Our nursery staff is prepared to spend this time with your child, helping them realize that church is a great place to be. There is no need to RSVP for service care. We have a monthly Bible story theme with activities each week to reinforce it, as well as parent take-home pages with ideas for continuing the story as a family.
Please sign in at the Child Check-in Station. You may add your cell phone number there so that we are able to text you if your child does not settle into the group in a reasonable amount of time. Please let children stay home and rest if they are not feeling well.
KIDS STAYING IN THE SERVICE?
While we do offer children’s programming during all worship services, sometimes children and families prefer to remain together during the worship service. The Cry Room and Pew Packs make this more feasible. We encourage families to worship together throughout the year.
Family Worship Room
If you would like to stay with your child during the worship service, yet need a little more space, please consider the Family Worship Room. This room is located as you exit the doors on the north side of the Narthex. The family room is equipped with a large screen, comfy furniture and toys and games for your small children. Please let an usher know if you are need anything to help you feel more comfortable during services.
Sometimes a bag of crayons and coloring pictures make it much more possible for little ones to sit with their families through the service. Please ask an usher for a Ziploc bag full of these items for use during the service. Pew Packs are available during all services.
Children with Special Needs
Please contact Rebekah Eggleston if you have a child with special needs. We will partner them with a volunteer during PLANTED WORKSHOPS.
MID-WEEK / EVENING CHILD CARE AT FUMC
We seek to provide a safe and fun place for your children while you serve and study. Many times childcare is the only thing keeping parents from becoming involved in activities at church. We realize this and seek to remove this barrier for your family’s involvement here at FUMC.
We offer child care free of charge during Church services, Bible studies, music practices, and many other groups. Please let your group leader know if this would make it possible for your involvement. We must have an RSVP for classes meeting on days other than Sunday so we know what nights we need to provide child care. We have a wonderful group of caregivers to spend time with your children. This is for infants through upper elementary school.
An RSVP for non-service events helps us make the best use of staff hours and budget constraints. Please call Rebekah Eggleston at 247-4213 to request care ahead of time or to RSVP for a regularly scheduled event.
