Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 16, at 2:00 p.m. for the annual church golf tournament to be held at Dalton Ranch Golf Club. This year’s recipient of 100% of the proceeds will be the Rooted College Ministry and Residency Program. The entry fee for the event is $110 per golfer or $440 per four-person team. This includes green fees, cart, range balls, dinner, prizes, and a donation to the ministry. The format is a four-person scramble and will include a championship division for teams looking to vie for prizes as well as a fun division for teams just wanting to come out and enjoy the beautiful location while supporting Rooted. Not only are their team prizes, but there will also be prizes on the course as well as a silent auction with a limited number of items up for bid. Call, email or stop in to talk with Robb in the church office to sign up to play. You can put your own team together or we can match up multiple golfers into a single team. This is a great fellowship opportunity for a good cause. The registration form is available in the atrium area of the church and the through the church website at www.fumcdurango.org. You can pay with cash, check or credit card. If paying by card, please add $3.00 per golfer to cover the fees paid by the church. We are also seeking businesses or individuals who wish to sponsor a hole for $100. You will get a sign at a tee box throughout the event with your business name.
