
One of our core values as a church states that "Children and Youth are of Utmost Importance".
Our offerings for youth and students cover grades 5 through 12.
Student ministries at FUMC cover a variety of ages:
- Club 56 is for students 5th and 6th grade.

- JOLT! is for students in 7th to 12th grade.
Tuesdays: JOLT! Youth Group from 4:30 to 7pm (7th to 12th grade) during the school year.
- Transportation provided from Escalante, Miller and DHS. Meet the church van 3:45pm. Parents should pickup their students at the church at 7pm.
- Students have a great time as our JOLT! Praise Band leads us in worship, we play games, have small group discussions, and eat dinner together. It's all about connecting with other students and leaders and growing in our relationship with Christ.

Sundays: Club 56 (5th and 6th grade) from 4pm to 5:30pm during the school year.

CORE
Confirmation
- A five month faith journey for students in 8th grade or higher. The Journey begins with a retreat in January and concludes with Confirmation Sunday in May. Time together includes retreat, classes, field trips, service project, banquet and worship time together.
SALT (Student Action Leadership Team)
- A leadership opportunity for students committed to growing in their relationship with Christ and helping other students in that journey. Students will develop a Life Mission Statement and look for ways to serve others in their community.
- Youth ministry includes a variety of other opportunities such as Summer Camps, Road Trips, Service Projects, Acquire the Fire, Mission Trips, helping in Worship Services, Fundraisers, and other Recreational Adventures. We exist to enhance youth, their families and the community. Youth Ministries is one of the few extra-curricular activities that will develop teens in all 5 areas of personal growth: Socially, Emotionally, Physically, Spiritually and Mentally
