Did you know...

  • Most people who follow Jesus decide to do this before the age of 18?
  • Moral foundations are usually in place by age 9?
  • Spiritual beliefs are typically defined by the pre-teen years?
  • Adult leaders in the church usually had significant involvement in the church when they were young?

Because of this info and Jesus’ example of welcoming the children, children play an important role in our congregation. (Research taken from Transforming Children Into Spiritual Champions by George Barna)

Children and Family Ministries Include:

Children's Church Children's Church This is geared for preschoolers. Our goal is to provide a meaningful, age-appropriate worship experience for children during the sermon portion of worship.

How can you get involved? We’re so glad you asked!

  • Pray for the leaders and children as we seek to follow Jesus!
  • Join us as a leader! We try to rotate in many areas to limit burnout and to work with the variety of schedules. You do not need to commit to an entire year to be used!
  • Behind-the-scenes prep and continual work on programs is always needed and appreciated.
  • Help with a special event like Hanging of the Greens or the Easter Egg Hunt.
  • Be part of the Children/Family Leadership Team.
